Why Jewelry?

As a child, I was painfully shy. I mean, I never spoke unless you spoke to me first. I didn’t feel comfortable around strangers and I didn’t make friends easily. Needless to say I felt unseen, unimportant. Being one of six children, I thought it was best to stay under the radar and not cause trouble. I did my best to be “the good one” so that I wouldn’t be the source of any stress. I guess that feeling followed me into adulthood…feeling unseen and unheard. It wasn’t until high school that I fell in love with earrings. There were 2 pairs that were my favorite- a sun and moon, and a boy and girl. That’s when it clicked for me…there’s no law that says earrings have to be identical! I can express my creativity and stand out with my earrings! It’s like the heavens opened up…

Ever since then I have been on a quest to find the most creative jewelry out there. I enjoy things that are outside the box because they start conversations (and look fabulous, too). Amazing earrings are one of the first things that get noticed when someone meets you. They can make you feel invincible. I absolutely adore the idea of being able to create that feeling for someone else. I endeavor to create pieces that cannot be found anywhere else and because I never create the same piece twice, it’s a bonus that your choice will be one of a kind. That’s how I spread joy!
